A fleece vest is a sleeveless garment made out of fleece worn underneath a coat or over a shirt.

Fleece Vests are an alternative to fleece jackets because of its sleeveless design and focus on the protection of the core muscles. Fleece vests are effective for doing strenuous activities with the upper body. Since the arms are easier to warm, having a sleeveless design can be more comfortable and convenient for extended wear. It can also act as an additional layer of protection for the consumer, by wearing it under a jacket or sweater in extreme weather conditions.
